Chez Action Montréal, nous croyons qu’une ville vibrante se construit par des moments de partage et de complicité entre les citoyens, leurs élus et les services essentiels qui font la force de Montréal. Notre parti mise sur l’écoute et l’authenticité pour tisser des liens avec les Montréalais. C’est pourquoi nous proposons un événement festif et rassembleur : un tournoi de balle-molle, un après-midi d’été, un samedi ou un dimanche, dans un parc montréalais. Deux équipes distinctes d’élus de la Ville de Montréal, représentant tous les partis politiques, affronteront, dans des matchs dynamiques, nos dévoués policiers (SPVM) et pompiers (SIM).
Avec un buffet varié de fruits, hot-dogs et autres délices, des boissons sans alcool, dont des jus, et une ambiance familiale, cet après-midi offrira une occasion unique de rendre nos élus, policiers et pompiers plus accessibles et sympathiques !
Notre engagement
Nous nous engageons à faire de ce tournoi un rendez-vous estival incontournable, condensé en un après-midi pour que joueurs et spectateurs profitent sans que ça s’éternise.
Chaque match, limité à 5 ou 6 manches, sera entouré de moments d’échange où élus, policiers et pompiers viendront jaser avec les citoyens.
Chaque équipe portera un chandail représentant son institution : les élus en chandail « Ville de Montréal » avec une photo de l’Hôtel de Ville, les policiers en chandail « SPVM » avec une photo d’un poste de police, et les pompiers en chandail « SIM » avec une photo d’un poste de pompiers.
Pour ajouter une touche d’humour, l’équipe perdante de chaque match portera, pendant 24 heures lors de ses apparitions publiques, le chandail de l’équipe gagnante.
Imaginez un élu en chandail « SPVM » avec un poste de police, un policier arborant un chandail « SIM » avec un poste de pompiers, ou un pompier en chandail « Ville de Montréal » avec l’Hôtel de Ville !
Ces échanges de chandails promettent des rires et célèbrent nos institutions. Ce tournoi deviendra une tradition où familles, amis et voisins se réunissent pour encourager et connecter.
Cet événement n’a aucun agenda politique. Pas de discours partisans, pas de promotion électorale – juste du plaisir, des sourires et un après-midi ensoleillé en famille.
Les chandails aux couleurs de la Ville de Montréal, du SPVM et du SIM soulignent que nous célébrons notre communauté et ses services essentiels.
Le plaisir de rencontrer vos élus, policiers et pompiers dans une ambiance décontractée.

At Action Montréal, we believe that a vibrant city is built through moments of sharing and connection between citizens, their elected officials, and the essential services that make Montréal strong. Our party is committed to listening and authenticity to forge bonds with Montrealers. That’s why we propose a festive and inclusive event: a softball tournament, held on a summer afternoon, on a Saturday or Sunday, in a Montréal park. Two distinct teams of elected officials from the City of Montréal, representing all political parties, will face off in dynamic matches against our dedicated police officers (SPVM) and firefighters (SIM).
With a varied buffet featuring fruits, hot dogs, and other delights, non-alcoholic beverages including juices, and a family-friendly atmosphere, this afternoon will provide a unique opportunity to make our elected officials, police officers, and firefighters more approachable and friendly!
Our Commitment
We are committed to making this tournament an unmissable summer event, condensed into one afternoon so that players and spectators can enjoy it without dragging on. Each match, limited to 5 or 6 innings, will be surrounded by moments of interaction where elected officials, police officers, and firefighters will come to chat with citizens. Each team will wear a jersey representing their institution: elected officials in “City of Montréal” jerseys with a photo of City Hall, police officers in “SPVM” jerseys with a photo of a police station, and firefighters in “SIM” jerseys with a photo of a fire station.
To add a touch of humor, the losing team of each match will wear the winning team’s jersey for 24 hours during their public appearances. Picture an elected official in an “SPVM” jersey with a police station, a police officer sporting an “SIM” jersey with a fire station, or a firefighter in a “City of Montréal” jersey with City Hall!
These jersey swaps promise laughter and celebrate our institutions. This tournament will become a tradition where families, friends, and neighbors come together to cheer and connect.
This event has no political agenda. No partisan speeches, no electoral promotion—just fun, smiles, and a sunny afternoon with family. The jerseys in the colors of the City of Montréal, SPVM, and SIM highlight that we are celebrating our city and its essential services.
